PinPoint
- PinPoint your present location, or any point of interest, by storing the GPS position
- Later, find your way back to the PinPoint using a simple navigation screen
- PinPoint does not require an internet connection, but if one is available on your mobile device, PinPoint can display information on Google Maps
TopHow to use PinPoint
- Traffic lights indicate the status of the GPS signal
- To enter your present location (e.g. parking space in car park, coffee shop, railway station, cinema, interesting plant, or other point of interest), first type a name for the new location and then Save
- Your new location will then be saved in the drop-down list
- When you wish to return to this location, check that the traffic lights are green, select your destination from the drop-down list and click 'Go' for directions to your selected destination
- Start walking and follow the on-screen prompts until you reach your destination
- If you need to check satellite strength or manually set-up the GPS, you can do so by clicking on the GPS symbol
- If you have access to the internet on your mobile device, click on the Google Maps symbol to download a suitable map of your current position
