This VB cookbook is under continuous construction. We intend it to be a  resource suitable for newcomers to the craft of Visual Basic development and to fellow programming professionals who might be looking for a clue or two before getting started on a development area that they are, as yet, unfamiliar with. You will find a list of the  articles below together with a short description of the content of each.

This page is not intended to rival the great resources available from  Microsoft via their MSDN subscription services and web sites. However we do intend to concentrate on the craft of programming and technique. We will strive to ensure that the content is  relevant, technical, clear and accurate.

For the moment these examples are mostly written in VB6 although most are adaptable to earleir versions and other languages. Any changes for VB.NET will be posted after we have finished our evaluation of Beta2. I would expect to see more NS basic for Palm code and eMbedded VB code reflecting the growing importance of PDAs in todays business market.
